The "low res" on your screen says that the atomizer's resistance level went lower than what your mod can accommodate (use safely), which is why it stopped working. The coil inside will start at a certain level but will go down as you use it so this is normal. Low Res would indicate low resistance meaning the ohms on the coil are reading too low.
What is low resistance in vaping?
But according to the common resistance of most vapers, the generally-said low resistance is resistance around 0.2Ω. Apart from low resistance, there is a word named ultra resistance. This word is about the resistance below 0.2Ω, such as resistance between 0Ω and 0.2Ω. <p > B. Low resistance warning on the device. (malfunction message)
Why is my MoD showing as low resistance?
Reason: Some mods don’t have the indication of short-circuit but display the information as “low resistance”. Reasons might be as follows, the heating wires contacting atomization tube, heating wires or metal debris on the base.
Why is my atomizer low when I vape?
Atomizer low messages sometimes occur when vaping because the mod is broken. This occasionally happens, no matter how careful the user is. These issues are caused by leaking juice, overtightening the atomizers, and by dropping it. The only remedy to these issues is to take good care of the vape.
Why won’t my vape fire?
If the resistance of the coil is lower than what the device can tolerate, the vape will not fire. Dry burning is one way to get around this problem because it can raise the coil’s resistance. Another thing to do is add wraps to the coil, which will increase the resistance high enough so that the mod fires.
What does low resistance on my vape mean?
Low-resistance coils Each mod will fire at a certain resistance range; if the resistance of your coil is lower than that, your mod will refuse to fire it. Remedy: If you are using a rebuildable, note that dry burning the coil may eventually raise its resistance.
What does resistance mean on a vape?
Atomizer resistance is a vaping-related term commonly known as 'electrical resistance'. It describes how much opposition an object has to electrical current and is measured in 'ohms'.
What does low resistance mean on a Voopoo?
If you see the message “Low Resistance,” the connected atomizer coil has a resistance below 0.6 ohm. The Voopoo Argus Air doesn't work with every PNP coil; it only works with those that have a resistance of 0.6 ohm or higher. Replace the atomizer coil.
Is lower resistance better vape?
A lower resistance will provide warmer vapour, a slightly drier hit, and bigger clouds. The downside is that you're going to use your e-liquid more quickly and typically you need to vape at a higher wattage meaning your 18650 li-ion battery will drain faster.
How do I fix low resistance vape?
Low Resistance Dry burning is one way to get around this problem because it can raise the coil's resistance. Another thing to do is add wraps to the coil, which will increase the resistance high enough so that the mod fires. If using a factory coil, either a new coil or vape is needed.
How do you fix too low ohms?
"Ohms Too Low" or "Ohms Too High"?...You could try the following methods to recover:Please take off the tank and click the fire button, and then place that tank back on, click "n" when it asks "is it a new coil".Please make sure screws are tight on the tank if you use the RBA coil on your mod.More items...
What is dry burning a coil?
What is “Dry Burning” a Coil? “Dry burning” is similar to pulsing a coil, only this time after the wire has been put to use. Vapourising e-liquid will, after a time, cause the coil and wicking material to “gunk up” with matter that can affect the taste and performance given from your atomiser.
Why is my Voopoo not working?
If the Voopoo Find S doesn't work when you press the fire button, the most likely cause is that the device is turned off. Press the five button five times quickly to turn it back on. If the device still isn't working, an error message should appear on the screen.

What setting should my vape be on?
As a general rule, dab temperatures are set between 315℉ to 900℉. Below 315℉ is usually too low to vaporize cannabis concentrates. And above 900℉ can release carcinogens as well as a harsh, burnt vapor.
What resistance coil should I use?
The ohms level is a way of measuring a level of electrical resistance. The standard or regular level of ohm when it comes to vaping and your clearomizer is between 2.4 and 2.8. This is by far the most common ohm range chosen by those looking for replacement coils, with the most commonly chosen being 2.5.
What happens if you vape at high resistance?
If you are vaping at a high resistance, that means it will be challenging for electricity to flow from your box mod to your oil vape tank. This will make it harder for your oil tank to reach higher temperatures, which means you will produce less vapor. However, the vapor your do produce will be cool and tasty. Vaping at a high resistance also extends the life of your battery (since less power is being drawn), and it extends the life of your atomizer (since less power is flowing in at one time).
Why does my vape tank get hotter?
If you decide to vape at a low resistance, power will easily flow from your battery to your oil tank. This means that your atomizer will get much hotter much faster, allowing you to produce large clouds of vapor. However, so much power flowing at one time will put a strain on your battery, causing it to deplete quickly. It will also strain your atomizer and will shorten the overall lifespan of your oil tank.
What is sub ohm vaping?
In years past, sub-ohm vaping was a technical feat pursued by those with the best understanding of mechanical box mods. Users would manually tinker with the inside workings of their box mod to allow power to flow at a sub-ohm level (or at a resistance rating of less than 1.0ohm). The result was a huge surge of power to your atomizer which produces enormous vape clouds at once, though it came with significant risks. Electric shorts were common, and it was easy to ruin your box mod, vape tank, or both if your settings were exactly right.
What are the problems with vaping atomizers?
The three most common atomizer problems are: Atomizer short warning. Atomizer low warning. No atomizer found warning. Those are the warnings that will typically pop up when you run into issues with the coil.
What to do if you don't have an external charger for your vape?
If you do not have an external charger, then you will need to rely on your vape mod to identify the issue with your atomizer. If the batteries are the issue then either find the right coil resistance for the batteries (if they are not defective) and device being used or get a new pair of batteries.
What does it mean when your coil is low?
The coil is too low in resistance in the mod thus displaying the "atomizer low" message. blockquote An atomizer low warning means that the device does not support the atomizer's resistance. This means that your atomizer's resistance is too low and is thus not compatible with your mod.
Why is there no atomizer found?
If the warning is still there after trying to fix it then it could be an issue with the mod being used. A "no atomizer" warning almost always means the coil being used is dead or loosely seated .
What is a RTA atomizer?
It can refer to devices containing coils or it's also used to refer to the coil inside the device. There are three types of atomizer devices: vape tanks , rebuildable drip atomizers (RDA), and rebuildable tank atomizers (RTA). These devices all use a coil that heats up and transforms vape juice into vapor.
Why does my atomizer give me a short message?
There could be a number of reasons why your device is giving you a short message. If you are using a rebuildable atomizer then your coil could be touching an unintended area like the deck or cap of the casing. If you are using a tank with a pre-built coil then the coil can either be defective or it could be loose.
How to fix an atomizer short?
How to fix an "Atomizer short" warning: Place batteries on an external charger to ensure they're both charging properly. For rebuildable atomizer users (RDA/RTA), make sure the coil is not touching the cap or deck and contains no breaks in your coil.
Why won't my vape fire?
If the resistance of the coil is lower than what the device can tolerate , the vape will not fire. Dry burning is one way to get around this problem because it can raise the coil’s resistance. Another thing to do is add wraps to the coil, which will increase the resistance high enough so that the mod fires.
Why is my atomizer low?
A common reason why the atomizer low warning occurs during vaping is that the coil was not properly made, the connection is loose, it is not seated correctly, or it does not have an insulator. Another reason a user might get this warning is that he or she misjudged the size of the build.
What does low atomizer mean?
Atomizer Low means that the coil resistance is too low. Vapers who see any of these messages on their mod should stop using the vape immediately. But do not worry. These issues can be solved quickly so that the user can get back to vaping as soon as possible.
Can a damaged insulator cause a short out?
Therefore, a damaged insulator can result in a short out. If this is the case, inspect the insulator, which is located in the 510 pin. Look for signs of damage. If the insulator is not damaged, the warning is not being caused by a damaged insulator.
