I haven't seen this behaviour on my iJust S, but it sounds like it might be the short-circuit protection. There could be a dodgy connection between the tank and the mod, or the coil is faulty or not installed correctly.

Ok, so I have no idea what happened, but my friend said he took it apart and washed it with water, then he dried it with a hair dryer. At first it didn't turn on but after a few minutes it did and it worked perfectly! No weird blinking or anything.
