KangerTech NEBOX – Box Mod Setting Up, Filling Tank and Overview
This is an overview of the KangerTech NEBOX and Instruction Guide for setting up, using and getting started. Setting up the KangerTech NEBOX Box Mod is fairly simple and we will show you how easy this mod is to use.
Step 1 – Unscrew the Tank Housing with the Provided Key (Quarters and Nickles work as well)
First you want to unscrew the main tank component which holds your coils. Weather you are using the RBA deck to re-build your coils or using the coils that KangeTech provides, this section will hold and house your coils. This component can be unscrewed with your fingers; however, using the provided key or a quarter will be a little easier.
Step 3 – Tilt the body of the NEBOX Box Mod and slowly fill the large 10ml volume tank
Once you have completely soaked your coil with ejuice, move onto filling your tank. Tilt the KangerTech NEBOX Box Mod to ensure you will not fill any juice down the center tube (this is where you inhale from).
Step 4 – Screw on the SSOCC Coil and Housing unit back onto the body of the NEBOX Bod Mod
After you have reached the level you are comfortable vaping with, screw back on the coil component and tighten it down with the provided key or a quarter. CAUTION: do not over tighten.
Step 5 – Unscrew the IMR Battery housing with the provided key (Quarters and Nickles work as well)
After you finish screwing on your tank and coil section, start by wiping down the NEBOX Mod if you have spilled any ejuice. This will prevent from any ejuice leaking into you IMR battery section. Unscrew the IMR battery section with the provided key.
Step 8 – Screw on the IMR Battery component with provided key
Here is where things can get a little tricky. For some reason, it is somewhat of a pain to screw on the IMR battery cap while there is a battery in the unit. If you find that this is happening to you, be patient, THIS IS NORMAL. You have to get the threads just right in order for the IMR battery cap to go one effortless.
Step 9 – Adjusting temperature controls with the NEBOX Box Mod
There are many controls on the KangerTech NEBOX Box Mod. We will list them out for you so you can understand what you are doing and what all the settings mean.

What is an RDA vape?
An RDA is a rebuildable drip atomizer. This is a vape device with an atomizer deck to build your own coils on. There is no tank that contains a reservoir e-liquid. Instead, e-liquid is dripped directly onto the wick and atomizer as needed. After every few vapes you drip on some new e-juice.

I'm new to vaping and my friend set me up with the Kangertech Topbox Nano, which doesn't have all that much readily available online outside of reviews. I smoke cigarettes half a pack and day and am trying to quit.

Do you know what resistance coil is installed in the tank? It should be displayed on the screen of your mod. Post back with that and we'll try getting you headed in the right direction.

Pictures work marvelously. So you have the 0.5Ω coil installed. Which at 7.5 watts shouldn't be giving harsh hits unless:

All I will say to that is when you go into a store with someone who does it as well and you spend an hour like I did talking to someone at said store and both people encourage you in one direction and you don't know entirely what you do, sometimes the newbies may get in over their head, it happens.

Thank you so much that was very easy for me to understand and I appreciate it! I will definitely try to do that. I think the liquid is to high, I figured that as much after I got home and thought about it for a bit, so I am going to try a lower mg and hopefully that works.

Ni coils shouldn't be used in power mode, they can potentially overheat and give off nickel oxide fumes which are toxic hence the need for temperature control and the burnt taste.

I'd probably throw that coil as well as you've almost certainly burnt it.
