hi. i tried this as a last resort to re-wick a poorly performing atomizer. i activated it a few times before removing the needle plate, but the wick remained in the atomizer. i used a small needle to push the wick from the battery end out, but the wire threading at the bottom of the wick unwound. using a needle was probably too thin?

We did it & it worked like a charm! Tried cleaning my first one by soaking in alcohol & then read/listened further and found out this is not the best method.
