I'm not that familiar with the Orion or pod mods in general. However, in my experience with most vape devices, using the highest wattage setting available in any vape device usually leads to trouble.

The take away for me on the 0.5 ohm pod is to set the boosts low (I went zero), the watts as low as possible. I went 8/10/13, and use it on 10. The warmth sliding bar set to 6 compensates. So far its lasting longer for me.
