I've been vaping for about 2 years on SMOK Alien 220w and recently brought the AEGIS Solo mod as it was smaller to take to work etc. but I'm having major problems with it.

What is 60w on one mod doesn't always relate to another brand of mod. Fresh coils should always be fired at lower watts to start to allow for break in etc. Also the Smok may have read a different resistance to the Aegis & again matching watts won't work.

Also, a lot of mods have different settings like soft, medium and hard. I know the Alien does. What's medium on one mod might be very different on a mod without those settings.
