How strong is ABV weed?
If you assume that 'average' weed contains around 15% THC, then perhaps ABV weed is likely to be nearer to 3-4% THC (or even below). Abv weed does contain cannabinoids, but much less than fresh weed.
What's left in vaped weed?
“Already vaped bud,” or AVB for short, is the brown, crispy flower that's left over after vaping cannabis. Although much of the THC in cannabis will be vaporized, the flower isn't turned to ash (unlike smoking) and retains some of its cannabinoid content. That means it can be used twice, if you know how.
What happens if you smoke ABV?
Smoking ABV isn't that bad or gross: it's just not like smoking fresh marijuana. And it will definitely taste a lot worse if your herb was heavily vaped at high temperatures, so that's an important factor. You can water cure your ABV to help improve the taste.
How long is ABV weed good for?
ABV contains more CBD than THC, and the higher CBD content creates a state of relaxation and sedation. I find that the high lasts for 4-6 hours (sometimes up to 8 using a lot of ABV), and vaping a bowl usually increases the effects and prolongs them for a little while longer.
How much AVB is in a stick of butter?
Potency will depend on the quality of herb you were vaping on, how thoroughly you vaporized it and of course, how much AVB you use. For the purposes of this recipe we went with ~2 ounces of AVB for 1 pound of butter. Whenever you're cooking with AVB it's a good idea to water cure it first.
Can you vape AVB?
Most people throw it out without thinking, but there are still cannabinoids in AVB cannabis. They can be used for vaping, smoking, making avb edibles, and in other creative ways. Herbs that have been vaped have a light green or greenish-brown color. The darker they get, the less that can be done with them.
