You do have to hold down the button when you vape the ego. you don't have to hold it down the whole time i usually breath in, press the button, wait till i feel the vapor. let go, and then keep breathing in a bit. You get used to the button after awhile, so don't let it worry you too much.

1. I like a lot of vapor, so I will generally draw for a full 8 seconds while holding the button then do a deep inhale. One way around this, is by purchasing a lower resistance atomizer, or not be a vapor fiend like I am ;p.

Most people get away from cartridges sooner or later like Jimik talks about. I agree, play around with them for awhile and see how they work out. Many of us started with them but as time goes on, you'll find that there are better ways to get great vaping out of your Ego.

2 to 5 seconds is enough and yes, you do have to hold the button on a manual battery to heat the juice and create vapor. There are some Ecigs that offer automatic batteries, but most who try them switch back to manual.

I always hold my hits in for as long as I can out of habit, so the same goes for when I vaporize.

Same with Igloo, I just inhale the whole time. It's not like it's harsh like smoke can be. And then inhale the remaining vapor in your mouth, hold for like another second or two, and that's about it.

I was just wondering about this today. I think its safe to hold vape hits in as long as you want cuz theres very little tar thats bad for u. But as for smoke, u shouldnt hold it in more than like 5 seconds cuz after that your just absorbing more tar and shit

you all know that your lungs absorbed as much as they can from the smoke/vapor. holding longer hits for more then like 5 secs is just almost pointless. You get a headrush holding your breath because your not letting oxygen into your blood stream. but after 5 secs. your lungs have absorbed what they can and after that.

I am in the same boat .Been vapin over three years ,I reduced the nicotine but have grown to enjoy the tasty liquid.I don't see where it is hurtin anything ,and it doesn't cost much.I have decided to keep on vapin until it seems like it is time to quit.I figure one day soon the goverenment will get involved and the cost will go up and the options will go down and it will be time to quit then.Kind of why I reduced my nic during the first year..

Good question and I guess it's all up for you to decide. I'm a lot like mcquinn. I've been smoke free and vaping for more than 2 1/2 years and I like the different flavors and methods of vaping. I went from 36 and 24 mg/ml juice down to 12 but I decided to vape 18mg now for the most part.

In two months I will be celebrating my 3rd anniversary of being smoke free - after smoking analogs for 34 years. I have no desire to quit vaping, but if anything happened that I had to quit (see above mentioned government stuff), I could do it. No way I would ever go back to analogs either.

personally i think you should quit vaping when you feel the onset of a headache coming on or when you get severely dry-mouth. another time to quit is when, no matter how much you vape, you cant get rid of that "jone'n feeling" you get in your mouth. that usually a sign that im hungry and have to quit vaping.
