Because vaporizers do not burn hot enough to combust the cannabis or cannabis oil, you can hold the vapor in your lungs for longer without worrying about excess tars and other gross smoke byproducts. Think of hitting your vape like taking a long sip from a glass, and you'll be feeling fine in no time.

Can you hold a huge hit longer than that?
Holding it any longer than that is just a waste. Holding a huge hit just produces more smoke than your lungs can handle and it can’t go anywhere but out.

Same with Igloo, I just inhale the whole time. It's not like it's harsh like smoke can be. And then inhale the remaining vapor in your mouth, hold for like another second or two, and that's about it.

well i felt pressured to hold it in because the vape owner told me to the first time i used one but any time over 7 secs is pointless.
Bajiggy sure....
I was just wondering about this today. I think its safe to hold vape hits in as long as you want cuz theres very little tar thats bad for u. But as for smoke, u shouldnt hold it in more than like 5 seconds cuz after that your just absorbing more tar and shit

you all know that your lungs absorbed as much as they can from the smoke/vapor. holding longer hits for more then like 5 secs is just almost pointless. You get a headrush holding your breath because your not letting oxygen into your blood stream. but after 5 secs. your lungs have absorbed what they can and after that.

I too also blow it out immediately. Unless I'm sitting in my office, in which case I hold it in longer, and usually end up blowing no vapor out, so no one even knows.

I don't hold it in very long at all - almost 0? Unless I am really needy for nicotine - then I might. Or if I love the juice and it's a new one or I haven't had that juice for a while - not purposely holding it in, just stuck in the moment.

I usually hold it in for a good 1 or 2 seconds, unless I'm chain vaping. If I stealth vape, I usually hold it in for a good 10 seconds, before slowly exhaling out my nose.

i do notice more nic buzz when i exhale through the nose. i'd guess because the oils containing nic get all over the hairs in there and have more opportunity to be absorbed through the skin.
