Open your airflow

Air flow helps you to enhance and adjust the flavour of your e-juice. However, if the draw is too tight or in fact closed completely you will get a burn sensation in your throat from vaping. I know you want to get vaping right away but take a dry hit and 1, it will taste gross and 2, it will burn out your coil before you’ve even used it. Once you have installed the coil, top the tank up with juice and leave it to sit for a while.

Reduce your nicotine level

Nicotine can feel a little scratchy on the throat. If it is causing too much discomfort then why not try reducing your nicotine level.

Allergies

Coming from smoking, your lungs are used to a dry, hot smoke. Vaping is a warm/cool, wet vapor. When I first started, my lungs thought I was drowning from all the moisture and I coughed a lot. After getting used to it, it now seems normal. Although it is still quite moist.

Thanks. This does make sense. I had thought I was getting juice in my throat. It didn't burn. Just wet.

I vape up to 5 watts, the highest my istick minni goes and adjust the airflow on my nautilus as well.

I made a mistake on the adjustments for volt, compared to the watt. I've been using the 5 v, which is as high as you can adjust.
