Is it possible you vaped more than normal yesterday? I've had some days where I go way overboard vaping due to anxiety, and the next day when I vape the same stuff, it hurts my throat. This is especially true if I use some of my husband's 24 mg juice when I run out of my 16 mg - it's too much nicotine for me and causes throat irritation.

I agree with erratum its most likely a priming issue. The juice probably didn't fully wick before you took your first hit.

There should be an ohm rating right on the coil itself if you unscrew it from the base. It's tiny and might be hard to see for some people, but it's there. I agree with others who have said this might be the issue. Either that or it's a faulty coil, which I actually think is more likely.
