If your mechanical mod won't fire, check the atomizer with a resistance tester. If the coil build worked previously, it may simply be that the mod was bumped or jostled, causing one of the coil leads to come out of its post. What is regulated device?
A regulated device will ensure your ohm load is in the safest range, and there are no hard shorts in your atomizer. Also important is the type of batteries to use. You only want to use a high amperage battery, and you need to buy from a trusted source and company.
What is hybrid tube?
A hybrid tube consists of just a few parts. The tube itself, a switch, and the top threading. Tubes come in all shapes and sizes depending on your atomizer. The most popular sizes range from 22mm to 30mm. Switches can have nearly unlimited configurations.
What is a switch contact?
The contacts are usually copper or silver plated and the contact is usually held in place with magnets or springs. The switch contact makes a connection directly with your battery. The battery is connected to your atomizer’s 510 connection. When the switch is hit, it completes the circuit and fires the mod.
What is an unregulated mod?
Unregulated mods are in a league of their own. While your standard mech doesn’t have any safety features in place, unregulated mods usually do. Just like a mech, you hit a button and the mod will immediately fire. The difference is there is circuitry built-in.

The Contact
Here you see a picture of the contact we will be adjusting. I have placed a small flathead between the metal ‘flap’ (contact) and bottom of box.
How-To
You’ll want to start your adjustments by first inserting a screwdriver between the metal contact and bottom of the box. There’s no need to force anything, if you can’t fit the screwdriver between the two pieces, find a smaller tool!
How to build a proper coil for full mech vape?
Coils are made up of a resistance wire coiled up to produce even more resistance, resistance wires come in different forms, gauges, and materials ( Stainless Steel, Nichrome, Kanthal, etc..) Now each material has its own properties, some may be naturally more resistant to current than others and that plays a part.

Whether you are using a Regulated Mod, or a Full Mechanical Mod always check your batteries. Inspect the battery wrap top to bottom, this should be immaculate, having no tears, leakage or dents.
But what about Tube Mods?
We treat tube mods as if it’s a series mod whether running a single battery or dual battery (Stacked) it’s the same with the Series mod.
Why Switch to Full Mech Vape Mods?
Resaleability– full mech mods have resale value, if its a particularly rare mod prices could go up. These mods are produced in limited quantities not mass produced

Battery tech, as energy storage and efficacy evolves, full mech mods benefit the most from battery tech, the downside is full mech vape mods are heavily reliant to battery technology.
What is a mech mod?

What is a mechanical mod?

Along with the tube, there’s a firing pin that allows for the current in the battery to reach the attached atomizer/cartomizer/clearomizer – causing the coil (s) to heat up and vaporize the juice.
Why does my mod battery fail?
There is a danger inherent in every mechanical mod – the battery. Batteries can fail, due to over-tightening the end-caps of the mod or atomizer. They can also over-discharge due to accidentally pressing the firing pin/button for too long, causing the battery to overheat and potentially burst.
