Yes. I think maybe I am having this problem because after 30 45 minutes my AW IMR 700 mah 18350 went to Lo. My atty is 1.8 and immvaping at 9.00 watts sometimes 9.5. Do you mean the spring in the closure cap needs to be stronger? When I vape though it's great. Runs out too fast. I now am using the 18650 size 2100 MAH-AW IMR still.

So I have verified that my issue is not the spring - I replaced with a stronger conductive spring and am still having the same issues. I suspect that I received a bad mod. I'll open a ticket with Health Cabin and see what happens.

i think your issue is that you are drawing too many amps. 700 mah is not a huge amount. There are Ego batts with more mah than that. 1.8 ohms at 9.5 watts is going to chew up your battery time. I'd see how it goes with a normal resistance atty or carto.
