When you push the button to take a draw, the button will light up as you hold it down. If it doesn't, you need to do the 5 quick button pushes again to turn the battery on. If you're not getting vapor with the light coming on, something else is wrong.

Do as the above post says. Push the button down to take a draw. The button must be pushed in to take a draw. If the button is blinking when you are taking a draw then either one of two things are happening. One the battery is turned off inshich case give the button five quick clicks to cut it on.

Yes after 5 quick pushes on the button to turn it on , if you push on the button , momentarily (1 or 2 seconds) and the light comes on , the device is unlocked , and ready to use . 5 more clicks , and it's off etc , etc . And yes , once it's on , hold down the button , and take your toot . Release , when your done .

The tank attys used to ship with a coating of oily/preservative on them...you need to blow it out real good to get rid of it before you use it, or it may taste bad for a while until it burns off...I haven't bought t attys in a while, but that may be the bad taste you're getting.
