My mom had 2 teeth pulled and they said 1 week no smoking. I assume the same would be for vaping, but she also had a week follow up later for stitches to be removed. Just call your dentist office and ask. I'd rather be safe with that when it comes to help after your wisdom teeth coming out. I for one am not a doctor or a dentist.

Hey everybody. I looked at some of the other threads involving wisdom teeth, but I couldn't really find the specifics that I needed. This is my first post (I've visited this site several times through the years), and I hope I put it in the right area.

I smoked like 3 hours before my wisdom teeth removal, went in kinda stoned, I was fine after the anesthesia.

Ahh, okay, that's reassuring. Did you let anyone know? I've heard they could change dosage, etc.

Its all good man, I smoked the night before I got them out and I was fine. Only problem for me was that my blood sugar was stupid low when I came out of surgery and almost fainted the second I stood up. You shouldn't worry about the doctor asking you if you smoke, and its pretty inconsequential if he asks and you say you don't.

I wouldn't recommend smoking right before, at the very least have your teeth freshly brushed when you go in. Don't wanna have too much foreign bacteria floating around your mouth when they're yanking those suckers out.

marsdude89 Guest

I wouldn't recommend it. It's not like getting teeth pulled will be more fun just 'cause you're high. And you shouldn't smoke afterwards for about a week. Great way to get dry sockets.
