You’ll instantly recognise the Aegis Pro, it’s so very similar visually to Geekvape’s previous version the Aegis Plus.
The Body
The body of the Aegis Boost Pro is very similar to the Plus, design-wise anyway. You have the same rubber coating and leather heel with stitching continuing the Aegis tradition.
Pod and Coils
While the main body of the Aegis Boost Plus is very much a close match to the Aegis Boost Plus, the PODs have changed. The “Plus” pods were a huge improvement over the original Boost design, getting rid of the 2 piece body that was held together with clips, in favour of a fused seam, to ensure no strange leaking.
Airflow
As I mentioned earlier, the airflow has changed somewhat from the Aegis Boost Plus. This time around, instead of the kidney shaped airflow in the wheel adjustment being at the bottom, its at the top. There have also been 2 additional slots added to the underside of the wheel, to aid even more airflow getting in for a more open DTL draw.
Battery
Geekvape have gone with re-using the 18650 battery configuration from the Aegis Boost Plus here. It’s very much the same, with a screw in cap on the bottom of the device, the only real change with anything to do with the battery is the switch out from Micro USB port to USB Type-C.
Filling
Filling the Boost Pro is very simple. In fact it’s exactly the same as the Boost Plus. Remove the fill plug, fill it up, and plug it back in. No stress no worries.#N#The newer Plus and Pro Pods are easy enough to see through, to see your e-liquid level, and they’re able to be filled pretty close to 100% without too much trouble.
